CAT APPOINTMENT INFORMATION
We book our cat appointments at 8.30am or 9am which is a fixed time or 3pm, 3.30pm & 4pm (this can change on the day). There are no dogs booked in the salon at the same time as your cat so it’s a nice and calm environment. We also ask the owner to stay throughout the appointment. Please note that the afternoon appointments are an estimated time when we will be finished our dog appointments for the day and we ask our cat clients to be available and contactable from 1pm onwards should we require them to come in earlier that day. We close the entire salon just for our cat appointments and there are two staff present so unfortunately it’s not viable to wait until the cat appt time if we happen to finish the dog clients quickly or our last dog client of the day fails to turn up.
The appointment duration can vary depending on how much work is needed and also cat co-operation.
We can trim nails, groom out dead hair, dematt and trim/clipper certain areas or an allover shave down if desired or needed due to extensive matting. We can also do lion trims if requested.
We don’t offer water baths for cats but we can give a bran bath which is warm dry oat-bran, massaged into the coat and this removes dirt and grease and is good for cats with bad dandruff or any skin issues.
Prices vary depending on the work carried out and time taken, usually between £45-£80 but can be a bit more or less. Every cat is different and some appts can take 10 mins and others 45 mins. Some cats are placid and others are more of a risk to us.
We always do our best to make the experience as calm and pleasant as possible for both owner and cat.
